Well, I've got the black spray plasti-dip and a spare pair of boots. There are soooo many others here with much more experience with this stuff than myself, but I'm just echoing what I've read here & from my very limited experience. Otherwise, depending on what the boots are made of, the only other problem will be whether or not it will stick to the material & not peel. The only problem with PlastiDip is that you're pretty much limited with regard to color choice. I don't know as I haven't actually done this, but I'm just relying on memory from many many weeks ago. Since it's made for vinyl bumpers, it should be fairly flexible. I think that I remember seeing someone talking about using DupliColor paint for car bumpers for this applications. Try a NAPA Auto Parts store, if you don't have 1 near you, you can order it online. Plasti-dip does come in a yellow spray, and will work well for painting rubber.
